How to play Number Sequence

Objective: Work out the rule and choose the next number in ten sequences.

  1. Choose a difficulty and press Start.
  2. Each question shows a sequence like 3, 7, 11, 15, ? — pick what comes next.
  3. Each question is timed; faster answers score more.
  4. Each round has 10 questions. You see the right answer after every question.

Scoring

100 points per correct answer, up to 50 more for answering quickly, and +20 per answer while on a streak of 3 or more. Getting 60% or more counts as a win.

Difficulty levels

Easy: adding or subtracting a fixed step, 40 seconds. Normal: adds multiplying and square numbers, 30 seconds. Hard: adds Fibonacci-style and alternating steps, 20 seconds.

  • Check the differences between neighbours first.
  • If the differences grow fast, try multiplying.
